Want to not just see Tbilisi, but feel like a part of it? Our theatrical promenade will immerse you in the city through images, live stories, feelings, and colorful details. Following the actors, you will hear stories from locals about childhood, love, and neighborhood. The setting for the play will be the historic Sololaki district with its courtyards and elegant entrances.
What to Expect
Immersing into the Tbilisi atmosphere through images and sounds
At the beginning of our walk, you will receive instructions and headphones - and then the most interesting part begins! You will discover Tbilisi through the sounds of an audio play, while our actors accompany you and illustrate the stories with performance.
You will hear horses neighing, the clatter of a typewriter and dominoes, the cries of a mason, and the bustle of cooking. You will enter two authentic entrances with frescoes and spiral staircases, visit the colorful courtyards of Sololaki. The leisurely pace will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the city's atmosphere, understand how it used to live and how it lives now.
City Life: Emotional storytelling
Storytelling is the main technique of our immersive walk. Before you unfold the relationship of Georgia and Aniko, the main characters of the play performed by professional actors. Famous stories of Sololaki residents will also be woven into this canvas: you will hear about Pirosmani and Margarita, about the gift of the house-opera from the Kalantarovs and the stagecoach robbery - all these plots will come to life, as in a movie.
For example, you will learn about the arrangement of a Georgian courtyard through the childhood memories of Georgia. You will hear about how Aunt Nino cooked on the balcony, how the entire courtyard watched football on Uncle Sergo's TV, how Grandpa David could beat anyone at chess, and how a football accidentally broke a shushabandi - it is from these little details that the cozy world of Tbilisi is formed.
Organizational Details
- The excursion is on foot. Along the route, in addition to actors, a technician accompanies the group, providing instructions and handing out headphones, monitoring transitions between locations, helping to find the best vantage point, and resolving all technical issues.
- The excursion is continuous, like a play, it cannot be stopped, take off headphones, or leave the route - which we will remind you of at the very beginning. There is a little time at each location for taking photos and free movement.
- All clarifying questions can be asked by participants after the excursion.

Pros: lasts only an hour, not stressful even in hot weather, everything is clearly audible because you wear headphones, dynamic, no standing in one place for 10 minutes, interesting stories of the area residents presented in an easy way!
