What to Expect
Charm of 'Swiss' Dilijan
Our first destination is the ancient town on the banks of the Agstev River. You will walk through its streets surrounded by stories of life here in the past and present. I will tell you about the famous personalities who visited the town and what they said about it. I will explain the uniqueness of the Dilijan architectural style and show you the most interesting structures. You will enjoy the magnificent landscapes and tranquility of these places, listening to local legends and myths.
Sacred Places and Attractions of Tsaghkadzor
In Tsaghkadzor, you will find a unique combination of ancient monasteries and extreme entertainment. You will explore the medieval era in the Kecharis monastery complex: learn about the fate of the buildings and their inhabitants. Hear about the families who lived here as early as the 5th century, delve into the city's chronicles, and understand why it was called the Valley of Flowers. I will take you to an amusement complex where you can ride an extreme zipline or admire the views from the cable car. Of course, we will talk about Armenian customs and culture, and if desired, we can have lunch at a traditional cafe or by Lake Sevan, where you will taste fish dolma.
