What to Expect
Tsaghkadzor: Mountains, Cable Car, and Ancient Monastery
Tsaghkadzor is the country's most famous climatic resort, located at an altitude of 2000 meters. We will tell you about its history and what it was renowned for during the Soviet era. We will show you its main attraction - the monastery ensemble of Goshavank from the 11th century - and explain the peculiarities of medieval architecture. Additionally, we will ride the cable car on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis and enjoy the magical panoramas of the surroundings.
Dilijan, Agartsin Monastery, and Lake Parz
Dilijan is an ancient, cozy, and incredibly picturesque town surrounded by mountains and forests. You will stroll through its charming cobblestone streets, admire the old houses with carved balconies, and learn the amazing stories associated with them. After that, we will venture to explore the surroundings of the resort town: visit the ancient Agartsin Monastery, admire Lake Parz, and, if weather permits, take a boat ride on it.
