About this experience
Lake Sevan is a relic that has existed for tens of thousands of years. It is Armenia's calling card and pride. We want to introduce you to the northern side of the lake - the most remote and picturesque. You will enjoy incredible views of Sevan from a sailboat, have a picnic by the crystal-clear water, and take a stroll through the colorful corner of Sevan National Park.
What to Expect
Artanish Peninsula and Its Inhabitants
We specifically chose this location because it is the most picturesque part of Sevan National Park. Here, we will observe iguana-like lizards, study succulents and interesting formations on the rocks - evidence that the lake was once much larger in size. The guide will explain what happened and where the water went. They will also share the history of Sevan's development and recall the sailing competitions for the USSR Cup.
Mini-Picnic, Sevan, and Dinner
We will stop at one of the best beaches on the coast with crystal-clear water. We will have a picnic in unusual settings - surrounded by dense sea buckthorn bushes. Then, we will sail on a sailboat on the serene Sevan. We will disembark on the opposite shore, have dinner at a restaurant, and head home.
