The first feeling you experience in Rome is that of urban chaos, but this is only at first glance. I invite you to take a 10,000-step walk and understand what was built in the Eternal City and for what purpose, how the Romans lived thousands of years ago, and how the modern city lives today.
Rome is a city like no other, and this statement requires no proof. It enchants, endears, sometimes even scares in its own way: Rome can be loved or hated, but it is unlikely that anyone will remain indifferent. Anyone who finds themselves in this place by fate has an irresistible desire to learn as much as possible about its history, see 'everything and everyone,' and visit as many sights as possible.
What to Expect
But the huge scale of the city, the variety of monuments of history and modernity - because of all this, many tourists get lost and cannot immediately decide where to go in Rome first and what to see. To avoid such a situation, I suggest taking a friendly walk through the most remarkable places of the famous city of Italy.
I will tell you how holes appeared in the walls of the Colosseum and it began to resemble Dutch cheese; how twenty people managed to fit inside the body of the statue of the horse on which the King of Italy sits in Piazza Venezia, and where in the city center you can find an elephant!
