But it has a rich history, which I will acquaint you with: who founded Herceg Novi and who owned it over the centuries; why Turkish names often come up here; what relation Admiral Sinyavin has to the city; where the old road passed, which, according to legend, was constructed by the Romans. I will talk about the formation of the first partisan detachments in the Boka-Kotor Bay, the local culture, and the glory of Herceg Novi as a city of creative people.

You will visit an authentic village, admire the greenery and landscapes of the Boka-Kotor Bay from delightful viewpoints, and see numerous medieval fortresses that Herceg Novi is famous for. Forte Mare Fortress and Kanli Kula Castle - two architecturally different monuments, which, like the Savina Monastery, have long been the city's landmarks.
