The palace park of Quinta da Regaleira is a magical place, full of deep philosophy beyond the known. I will guide you through the paradisiacal garden, filled with dozens of symbols, and reveal the past of the romantic Neo-Gothic palace. You will descend into the Upside Down Tower and touch the secrets of ancient religious movements.
What to Expect
Following the Templars
The mysterious estate raises countless unanswered questions for historians and enthusiasts: where do the tunnels from the building lead, how was the owner connected to Freemasonry, and where do the symbols of the Templar Order in the park come from if they never visited these lands? Together, we will try to approach the mystery of the mystical estate and decipher the purpose of occult symbols. You will 'undergo an initiation ritual' from a mere mortal to a member of a secret society: descend into the Well of Initiation, passing through 9 symbolic circles of hell, and emerge as a new person.
Through the Sintra Palaces
The charming Portuguese town sprawls among hills covered with centuries-old pine trees of Serra da Sintra, under the roof of which hide quirky palaces, luxurious mansions, and ancient castle ruins. After the enigmatic estate, you will stroll through the historic center of the city and listen to the story of the National Palace of Sintra - a medieval building where Portuguese monks lived. If you wish, we will visit one of the oldest local pastry shops - Perreurinha café: indulge in fresh pastel de nata and discuss our amazing adventure.
Organizational Details
- Additional fees for tickets to Quinta da Regaleira estate and train travel from Rossio station are required.
- We will meet at Rossio station at 8:30 am. We will travel to Sintra by train, then walk from the Sintra station to Quinta (approximately 20 minutes). We will return by the same means.
