About this experience
Serra da Sintra (Moon Mountain) is an area with a rich history that dates back long before Christianity. I invite those willing to explore deeper and see more. We will visit both well-known tourist spots and hidden treasures of Portugal's historical heritage. We will discuss how it was influenced (and still is!) by Masonic traditions and principles of other secret orders.
What to Expect
We will see and explore:
- The famous palace complex Quinta da Regaleira. You will learn about its authentic history, not just the official tourist version.
- The cult construction of Carvalho Monteiro - Sanctuary of Pena and the ancient Saturn worship temple. Upon request, you can visit the closed parts of the monument.
- The well-preserved Capuchin Monastery, to which I have a direct connection for its restoration.
- The westernmost part of the Eurasian continent - Cape Roca, and literally the last village on the continent Azoia.
After the tour, we will have lunch at a cozy family restaurant that prepares dishes according to Ancient Rome recipes.
