Nature and man have generously endowed Cappadocia: you will see this on our tour. The program includes everything: valleys with whimsical rock columns, secret caves, and cliff churches. You will enjoy panoramas, get acquainted with pottery art, and learn about the history of Cappadocia as the cradle of civilizations.
What to Expect
Exploring the fantastic valleys of Cappadocia, you will feel like you are on another planet:
- In Göreme Open-Air Museum, you will find yourself on a huge plateau littered with monastery-caves and examine the preserved frescoes
- The fortress town of Uchisar will impress you with the panorama from the observation deck at the foot
- Pasabag Valley will amaze you with mushroom-shaped rocks
- You will see the "Three Beauties" in Urgup, the stone symbols of Cappadocia, fantasize in the Valley of Imagination, and observe the famous tall columns in the Valley of Love.
History and Crafts of Cappadocia
Against the backdrop of picturesque landscapes, you will discover an ancient land. In Göreme, you will learn the chronicles of this land as a center of Christianity, and in the town of Avanos, you will visit a pottery gallery where, if desired, you can try your hand at this craft.
Organizational Details
- The tour is conducted by bus
- Price includes: hotel pick-up/drop-off, insurance for the duration of the tour, licensed transportation, entrance tickets as per the program, lunch (drinks are paid separately)
- We will pick you up at your hotel in Göreme, Uchisar, Ortahisar, Urgup, or Cavusin
- There may be English-speaking travelers in the group. In that case, the guide will speak in two languages on the bus.
