Quest: Find the Symbol of Love and Longevity
About this experience
I will take you to a wonderful land - to the place where the rivers Aragvi and Kura merge, to the old quaint town of Mtskheta, where friendly and very religious people live on paved streets. And there, once you immerse yourself in the history and atmosphere of the old capital of Georgia, you will have to find the symbol of love and longevity. The quest will be challenging, but fun and poetic: my riddles are in verses! A successful completion will be celebrated with Georgian wine, music, and dance.
What to Expect
History of the old town
Without knowing the history of Mtskheta, it is impossible to complete the quest, so first I will introduce you to this town, its main architectural monuments, and legends. You will visit the Jvari Monastery on the mountaintop, with a wonderful view of Mtskheta, and see the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where, according to tradition, the Lord's Robe is kept. I will tell you stories about Saint Nino, who healed with herbs, about a local proud peasant who shot his master and then hid in the forests for a long time, and I will also give you some hints for completing the quest.
Riddles in verses
To find the symbol, you will have only 60 minutes, so you will have to try hard and apply the newly acquired knowledge about Mtskheta. But it won't be boring: the riddles are formulated in verses and include a small task. In each of the correct locations you find during the game, you will have to take memorable selfies. Moving from one riddle to another, you will slowly approach the answer to the main question of the quest. The winner will receive a jug of delicious homemade wine as a gift. If desired, you can celebrate the end of the tour at a nearby restaurant.
