Exploring Old Tbilisi in a New Way: Walk-Quest
About this experience
This urban quest will be the perfect adventure: at a comfortable pace, you will independently discover the history and secret places of Tbilisi. The quest answers will be found on facades, in residential building entrances, on cultural monuments, and even in the metro. I will be there to help you with my hints and communication with the city regulars.
What to Expect
How the quest works
I will meet you at the beginning of the walk, provide instructions, and give you the necessary equipment. The quest is self-guided – at your own pace, you will follow the route and can return to favorite locations or take breaks anytime. I will always be available via your preferred messenger app (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber), where you will send answers to tasks. At the end of the route, we will meet, and I will announce the game results.
Streets and Houses of Old Tiflis
You will first explore the Garetubani district beyond the Old City. You will learn interesting facts from the Soviet period history, solve and find answers on building facades, in dining places, and in the metro.
The search for adventures will continue in the Tbilisi residential building entrances (just like that!). To get there, ask for help from residents, and then study the architectural eclecticism of 19th-century rental houses and their lush decor, mosaic floors, and stained glass.
The most challenging and interesting part of the quest will be the tasks in the Old Town. You will visit the Jewish, Armenian, and Azerbaijani quarters of Tbilisi, guided to the right path by details on ancient temples and modern buildings. As before, you can – and should – seek clues from local residents.

We slowly moved along the route from the file, with breaks for coffee and bars along the way 🤭 at the same time, it didn't feel like we were abandoned: Valeriy periodically appeared at various points on the route, told interesting facts, and helped with riddles.
