About this experience
Located 30 minutes from Porto on the green slopes of the Minho region is a family estate from the 16th century where the most famous Portuguese table wine - green wine - has been produced for a long time. I invite you to visit the producers and try their unique wine made from special grape varieties.
What to Expect
Why is the wine called 'green'? You will find out during our journey. Among the vast abundance of Portuguese wines, 'Green Wine' stands out, which you may have heard of or read about. We will visit one of the most famous and oldest family wineries, Gedes, where production traditions have been preserved since 1870.
After visiting their estate and strolling through the picturesque old garden, we will proceed to a tasting of green wines, accompanied by the serving of two types of cheeses also produced on this estate. After enjoying the magnificent atmosphere and flavors, we will return to Porto in a good mood.
