To create the right impression of Istanbul, I will guide you to the most cozy and refined corners of the city. You will dive into the history of ancient Constantinople and immerse yourself in the modern life of this multicultural city with its Asian and European traditions. After our walk, you will feel at home and, perhaps, even master the basics of the Turkish language!
Tour Itinerary
- Pierre Loti Hill - we will ascend to it in transparent funicular cabins, enjoy amazing views of the Golden Horn, colorful fishing boats, and the endless expanses of the city.
- Egyptian Bazaar - you will learn when and by whose order it was built, and what goods were traded here throughout history. Get ready to taste the best local teas and sweets!
- Taksim Square will impress you with its 19th-century architecture, historic tram, antique shops, cozy cafes, and well-known brand stores.
- Galata Tower - one of the most prominent landmarks of Istanbul. You will hear its legend, and if desired - climb to the top and enjoy the city views from above.
- Viewing platform on Chamlidja Hill - you will learn who laid its first stone, and examine from a height the Topkapi Palace, Galata Tower, mosques, fortresses, and the waters of the Bosphorus, and also be able to visit the Chamlidja Mosque.
- Kadikoy District - taking a stroll through its streets, you will get acquainted with the history of its predecessor Kadikoy, ancient Chalcedon, observe the daily life of the residents, and try the local ice cream, which has gained nationwide fame and love.
