We have prepared an immersive itinerary for you, revealing the rich history, culture, and architecture of Oman. You will visit the old capital city of Nizwa with a fort, mosques, and authentic eastern markets. Walk through the well-equipped paths of Al-Hoota Cave, marveling at stalactites and stalagmites. And explore the ancient Bahla Fort at the foothills of the mountain.
What to Expect
Nizwa City. You will get acquainted with the old capital of the country. Explore the excellently restored fort, admire the domes of mosques, and visit the famous date and halwa market.
Al-Hoota Cave. Just imagine: its age exceeds 2 million years. You will appreciate the giant stalactites and stalagmites, encounter bats and a rare species of blind pink fish. And also admire the underground rivers and Lake David.
Bahla Fort. It is the oldest and one of the largest forts in Oman, located at the foothills of Jebel Akhdar mountain. In the past, it served as the residence of the country's rulers. I will share facts and legends associated with it.
