About this experience
Pyramids, tombs, sarcophagi... Egypt's desert is full of treasures! Thanks to unique conditions, many of them have been preserved in excellent condition. You will visit the first Egyptian capital, Memphis. Evaluate the ancient pyramid in the Saqqara complex and the unusual pyramids of the Dahshur necropolis. Our guide will introduce you to the legendary civilization and history of Egypt.
What to Expect
Saqqara
First, we will visit where the world's first pyramid is located - Djoser (step). We will explore the entire complex: halls with columns, the preserved ruins of the 'T' temple, the restored monumental gates. Visit the mysterious underground Serapeum, where you will see 24 huge sarcophagi for burying sacred bulls. Enter the tomb of Ra-Hotep and Unas Pyramid: here we will talk about mysterious funerary texts.
Dahshur
In another necropolis, Dahshur, you will be amazed by the Bent and Red Pyramids, as well as the Pyramid of Khufu's Mother. There is also another unusual structure made of clay. We will also go inside all these constructions.
Ancient Metropolis Memphis
And of course, we will visit the first capital of Egypt. You will hear about the foundation of this city by Pharaoh Menes and see its landmarks: huge statues of Ramses II, an alabaster Sphinx, and a table for animal mummification.
