History of Murano Glass
We will meet in a cozy workshop in the heart of Venice. I will talk about the emergence of the luxurious interior segment associated with unmatched Italian style. Learn about the Roman and Byzantine eras, ancient artifacts found on the island of Torcello, as well as the periods of peak glass production in the 15th-19th centuries. And why Murano glass gained worldwide fame, becoming a symbol of wealth and refined taste.

Let's talk about the special role of Murano glass masters in the Serenissima Republic. Master Class (optional)
After the theoretical part and a demonstration of virtuoso fire work, you will be able to start creating your own piece. The process is completely safe - you will be provided with special glasses, and under the careful guidance of the master, you will try to create your masterpiece, which will be a wonderful souvenir to remember Venice.
Organizational Details
- The master class is not included in the tour price and is paid separately on-site: 55 euros per person. The piece made by the master during the demonstration and the piece you create will remain with you as a memory.
- The master class is suitable for children from 5 years old.
