About this experience
Colorful Turkish lamps attract attention in any eastern bazaar (and it's not easy to make them!). A picturesque piece can adorn an interior in any corner of the world. Buying such an item is nice, but it's much more interesting to make it yourself! In a cozy workshop just 5 minutes away from the Galata Tower, we will teach you how to create a mosaic lamp, treat you with tea and snacks, and tell you about local decorative art.
What to Expect
Let's meet at the brightest, most cheerful, and unique workshop in Istanbul!
You might have seen traditional Turkish mosaic lamps while exploring the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Now, you will be able to create such a lamp with your own hands and enjoy stories and legends. We will talk about the history of glass art and mosaic lamps, as well as immerse ourselves in Turkish culture. Join us to create an unforgettable memory with guests from around the world.
No experience? No problem! Throughout the master class, our instructor will be there to assist you. Plus, you can enjoy unlimited tea and delicious fresh Turkish sweets.
We will carefully pack the mosaic lamp you create so that you can take it home.

- Our workshop is open daily from 08:00 to 23:00
- The instructor is fluent in Russian, English, and Turkish at a native level
- The workshop's design is executed by an experienced mosaic artist, and the workshop is air-conditioned
