What to Expect
Art of muralist artists
Welcome to the small but incredibly colorful San Sperate - a town near Cagliari, famous for its murals. I will tell you about the origin and features of this traditional art of Sardinia. During the walk, you will discover the diversity of wall paintings and see interesting artistic installations. Strolling through San Sperate, you will feel the harmony of this corner - it seems to have inspired local artists for many years.
Unusual music of strange stones
You will visit an absolutely unique place! In the garden-museum of singing stones, you will find sculptures by the talented Sardinian master Pinuccio Sciola. Once he decided to prove that stone can be plastic and malleable, and created sculptures from this material, which you will see. These are stones of various shapes, adorned with engravings. But their main feature is their unique sound. I will tell you how it is created and why only Sardinian stones produce sound while sculptures by Michelangelo remain silent.
