About this experience
Baroque masterpieces, ancient columns, a million legends - on our walk you will not be lost in happiness and in the richest history of Rome. In a warm and calm atmosphere, we will walk through the center from Piazza Venezia to the Trevi Fountain. You will forget about boring guides, receive useful tips, and find the key to the heart of Rome!
What to Expect
Must-see places in Rome
Without haste, in 2.5 hours, we will visit the sights without which the Eternal City cannot be imagined. You will understand the significance of the Altar of the Fatherland, learn about the origins of the city on the Capitoline Hill, travel to Ancient Rome at the Forum, appreciate the grandeur of the Pantheon and the Temple of Hadrian, admire the Trevi Fountain, and even meet a cat colony at Torre Argentina.
Interesting walk through the epochs of the Eternal City
The route follows chronology (from the founding of Rome to the Renaissance era). You will immerse yourself in the past, but the guide will not burden you with dates and academic information from textbooks. On our walk, historical facts are "seasoned" with curious plots, legends, and stories about modern city life. For example, you will learn how the completion of the monument construction on Piazza Venezia was celebrated, why Napoleon ordered to close a city balcony, what was the merit of the favorite of the Pope before the city - and much more.
How to "tame" Rome
We will gladly tell you where to go for the most delicious pizza, where to find the perfect gelato, where to go in the evening, where the best viewpoints are located, how to use public transport. If you have additional questions, the guide will answer each one.
