Exploring Rome in a Small Group
About this experience
Join me to visit the main attractions of Rome in a comfortable small group format! Through fascinating stories, I will reveal the history of the Great City: its origins, development, decline, and flourishing. I will take you to beautiful ancient squares and show you all the must-see places.
What to Expect
Explore the historic center and visit the main squares of the city: Navona, Minerva, Spain, and Venice. You will see the Bridge of Angels, ancient forums, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and other symbols of Rome. In an easy and accessible language, I will tell you:
- How many obelisks are in Rome and how they appeared here
- How a cultural layer formed in the city at 5-6 meters
- Where half of the Colosseum disappeared and how it got its name
- What wishes you can 'buy' at the Trevi Fountain
- Why Spain has several embassies in Rome
Additionally, I will share practical tips: where to eat deliciously, where to go for a beautiful view, and how not to overpay during walks in the Italian capital.
Organizational Details
- The program includes a bus transfer from the Colosseum to the Trevi Fountain. The ticket is paid separately - 1.5 euros per person.
- We will only observe the attractions from the outside, except for the Pantheon
- The ticket to the Pantheon is paid separately - 5 euros per person (free entrance for those under 18)
- The tour will end at the Spanish Steps
