Additionally, we will witness skilled craftsmen making silk paper, creating wonders from clay, and crafting exquisite wool carpets. I won't let you get bored on the way and will share local traditions and legends with you.

City's highlights
You will see the main attractions of Samarkand: the family tomb of Tamerlane, Registan Square with three madrasas, and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. I will share their rich history and decipher the architectural features. Moreover, you will take a stroll through the medieval cemetery of Shah-i-Zinda.
A world of ancient crafts
Samarkand is known not only for its stunning architecture but also for its unique crafts. Their secrets are passed down from generation to generation. You will visit the 'Khujum' factory, where silk carpets are hand-stitched. And in the village of Konigil, we will visit a factory producing the famous Samarkand paper. I will reveal the ancient techniques used by local craftsmen in their work.
