I will help you discover its charm and soul.
What to Expect
Valletta through the ages
We will enter the Old City through the main entrance and explore its iconic places. You will see the 16th-century bastions built to defend Valletta from enemies, the Triton Fountain, and the ruins of the opera house. We will ascend to the Upper Barrakka Gardens and enjoy a panoramic view of the Grand Harbor. I will also show you the part of the city designed by the famous contemporary architect Renzo Piano.
Knights, churches, and more
Valletta is known as the "city of the Knights Hospitallers." I will reveal the peculiarities of this order and the stories associated with it. Another distinctive feature of the Maltese capital is the abundance of ancient churches. You will see the most important ones: the main cathedral of St. John the Baptist and the Protestant church of St. Paul's Shipwreck. Additionally, I will show you the Palace of the Grand Masters, the knights' library, and the Manoel Theatre.
