About this experience
You will see all the main attractions of the city, admire it from a bird's eye view, swim in a sacred waterfall, and stroll through the Atlantic Forest. We will tell you about the history of Rio, the mentality of the locals, and help you feel the character of this incredible place!
What to Expect
Legendary Christ statue and artists' quarter
We will go to the Christ the Redeemer statue by car early in the morning, so you can feel the energy of the place and take photos without crowds of tourists. On the way, we will show you the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa and tell you about its aristocratic past and creative present. If desired, we will make a quick stop to buy aromatic cassava starch buns in a small snack shop, known for the most delicious cheese bread in Rio. Then the road will lead us up - through the picturesque Tijuca Forest, we will finally reach the city's main attraction - the statue of Jesus, from where you will have magnificent views.
Walk through the forest and refreshing waterfall
On the way back, we will walk along the trails of the second largest forest within a city in the world. You will breathe in its wonderful scents and, if you're lucky, see some of its inhabitants: toucans, marmosets, capuchin monkeys, white egrets, or maracana parrots. The forest trail will lead to another iconic place - the ancient sacred Duque Waterfall. You will plunge into its cool waters and recharge with energy for the rest of the day!
