About this experience
Trying to climb to the top of Corcovado Hill to the symbol of Rio - the monument of Christ the Redeemer, you will find several options for ascent, but in reality they are all associated with time losses in queues for ascent and descent during the high season, and also deprive you of the opportunity to visit other interesting and beautiful places. We have designed a route in which, in addition to an easy visit to the famous statue, you will be waiting for the world's largest urban forest, the bohemian district of Santa Teresa, the legendary favelas, luxurious beaches, and, of course, acai tasting!
What to expect
Tijuca Forest, carioca Montmartre, and favelas
In a 4-hour journey, you will not only visit the Christ statue (which is usually the time spent waiting in lines and observing the monument) but also explore the picturesque corners of Santa Teresa and the world's largest urban forest Floresta da Tijuca, as well as visit the fashionable neighborhoods of the southern zone of Rio with their beautiful beaches. You will head to the top of Corcovado, stopping along the way for photo shoots and observation of local wildlife in any place you like. You will drive through the winding streets of carioca Montmartre, as Santa Teresa district is called, and stop at the Prazeres favela - the filming location of the movie
