About this experience
Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic coast. It will captivate you with winding streets, picturesque courtyards, colorful temples, and terracotta roofs. You will visit the City Museum, appreciate the mighty defensive wall, and admire the sea panoramas. And I will tell you about the past and present of this magical place.
What to expect
The Best of Budva
You will walk along the fortress wall of the Old Town, climb to the citadel and enjoy the splendid views. You will also see several ancient temples: St. Sava, St. John the Baptist, the Trinity, and the Virgin Mary. Explore the ruins of the Roman necropolis and uncover the purpose of the ancient city gates: Eastern, Maritime, and Iron. Visit Richard's Head Beach and decipher its name.
A Journey Through Time
The history of Old Budva dates back 2500 years. Artifacts from different times can be seen in the City Museum: vases, jewelry, tools, and tableware. I will tell you which empires Montenegro belonged to over the centuries, share the myth of its origins, and help you find the 'Hollywood Bell.' Additionally, I will provide useful tips from a local: where to eat, take a walk, and go.
