What to Expect
Prague Through Local Eyes
Through narrow ancient streets, past magnificent palaces and bourgeois houses, the monastery of the Knights of the Maltese Order and the Church of Our Lady under the Chain, we will head to the Alchemy Museum. Along the way, I'll tell you who and when founded the district of Mala Strana, who the 27 Czech nobles guard, and where the oldest wooden spiral staircase in Prague is located. You'll admire the Lover’s Bridge, learn about the origins of the 'lock' tradition, meet the Waterman, leave your autograph on John Lennon Wall, and visit the Golden Lane of the Prague Castle.
Alchemy and Magic Museum
Interactive exhibits, a magical circle on the floor, scrolls with stories of famous mystics of the past, and the attic space 'Kelly Tower,' where the Scottish medium worked - here you will be immersed in the world of alchemy. You'll learn who invited alchemists to Prague and what they were doing here, peek into the laboratory that keeps the secret of making the Philosopher's Stone, and understand why this place is called the 'House by the Donkey in the Cradle'.
