About this experience
We will walk through the grandiose ethnographic park 'Eternal City' with stylized antique architecture in the light of night lights, pleasant embankment, and authentic craft shops. We will enjoy the beauty of bright fountains with colorful lighting and see the night Registan and Gur-Emir. The walk is perfect for a first acquaintance with the city.
What to expect.
Ethnographic park 'Eternal City'
We will stroll through the modern park revealing the country's cultural heritage. You will see masterpieces of local architects adorned with traditional ornaments and mosaics. Walk along the canal embankment where international rowing competitions took place in Soviet times. In the summer, enjoy the Singing Fountains. I will tell you how and by whom this ambitious project was created.
Main square Registan in the light of night lights
It is hard to imagine the Samarkand streets deserted, but the night dictates its rules. The city becomes mysterious, enigmatic, and even more magical. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of an eastern fairy tale, I will take you to the main square of Registan. We will appreciate its fantastic illumination and take luxurious photos.
Mysterious Gur-Emir
Tamerlane's Mausoleum becomes more mysterious and deserted at night. I will tell you all about this great military leader and various legends associated with this complex.
Organizational details
- The walk does not include a visit to the inner hall of Registan and Gur-Emir. If desired, you can enter independently (entrance fee is paid at the ticket offices)
- The tour is in a car-pedestrian format. Transportation is included in the price.
- In summer, the fountains and water transport operate in the 'Eternal City'. We can include a boat trip in the program. Cost and details can be clarified in a personal message.
