Cultural and tourist complex in Echmiadzin is a space where you won't find museum officialdom. It's a lively place, created with love for Armenian culture, creativity, and people. You will hear the unusual history of the house and feel its warm hospitable atmosphere. You will be shown antiques, learn about creative and social projects, and be invited to master classes. And afterwards, you can have lunch at the cozy restaurant 'Song of Bygone Days'.
What to expect
🏡 A local guide will introduce you to the history and concept of the project. You will tour the interiors of a traditional Armenian house and household items from different eras. You will see an art gallery, a local art school, a theater, and a wine cellar. And you will understand what an amazing attraction point has been created here.
🥘 In addition, guests are invited to various master classes. Here you can learn to bake lavash, cook the famous dolma, and make Armenian sweets. Try your hand at pottery and sew an amulet - the doll Nuri. On the complex territory, you will also be offered to taste local delicacies and drinks. And you can have lunch at the social restaurant, where people of the older generation (60+) work.
