About this experience
In just three hours, you will learn the most important things about Lisbon: how the city is structured and what is special about it, the milestones of its history, and something about the Portuguese - what they eat and drink, how they spend their time, and what their temperament is like. You won't have to wander around Lisbon and get to know it randomly. All the ancient sites and interesting things will be revealed on their own, so that you can further immerse yourself in this city and feel yourself at least as a guest of a good friend, if not at home.
What to expect
Explore the city center
The capital of Portugal has had a challenging but fascinating history: you will walk through the first city in the world that was rebuilt taking into account seismic activity, and learn about what happened to Portugal while it was under the rule of the three Philips and after the revolution. You will see the Restauradores Square and the Commerce Square, get acquainted with the toponymy of Lisbon, the Bairru-Alt district, and the St. George's Castle. And from the observation platforms, you will overlook the picturesque pattern of narrow, winding streets of the oldest Moorish quarter, where it's so easy to get lost among dead ends.
Features of local life
On the way, if you wish, you can have a sip of ginjinha - the Portuguese cherry liqueur - and try the local dish pastel de bacalhau. I will tell you what to order in Lisbon restaurants and cafes, what is included in the Portuguese diet, and also teach you how to properly eat sardines, for which the country is famous. After the tour, you will know what else to see in different areas of the city and how to spend time so that Lisbon becomes dear to you as it is to me and remains in your memory forever.
