The best way to get acquainted with Lisbon is to start with the left side of the city - the districts of Baixa, Alfama, Mouraria, and Graça, which I invite you to explore. It is here that you will feel the special contrast between the city's past epochs and its modern way of life. Immerse yourself in the history of fado, hear local legends, learn about flea markets, and trendy cafes. Lisbon is a city of constant discoveries, and I will be happy to make you fall in love with it!

Places preserving the city's spirit
The best way to understand and feel Lisbon is to stroll through the streets of Alfama, with its enchanting dead ends and hidden courtyards, Mouraria and Graça - the birthplaces of fado, the official 'soundtrack' of Portugal. You will see castles and squares, ride the famous tram, climb several lookout points with breathtaking views, and walk the streets of Baixa. Almost every house in Lisbon holds a history, legend, or mystery that you will have to unravel on the walk.
City Contrasts and Color
In the alleys of Lisbon, you will come across old houses where elderly ladies and lazy Portuguese cats look out of the windows, hipster cafes or old district bars decorated with the famous azulejo tiles that still remember the times of Salazar. You will be amazed at how harmoniously all this coexists on the winding streets of the city.

- We won't face long uphill walks: the route is designed to conserve your strength for the impressive panoramic viewpoints at the top of Lisbon's hills.
- We don't have to follow a specific plan: if you already have any ideas and plans, we can incorporate these points into the route. I am happy to adapt our walk to your preferences and will be glad to share any local resident tips.
