What to expect
Samet Nangshe Viewpoint
From here you will see a luxurious panorama overlooking the east - a chain of islands named after Bond stretches far along the Phang Nga Bay. By the way, it is believed that it was here that Cameron got the idea of the mythical Pandora - can you imagine how iconic and inspiring this place is?
Temple of the Black Monk
During the day, you will visit several sacred places where you will touch the millennia-old culture of Buddhism and realize its role in Thailand. One of such places will be a temple with a huge statue of a black stone monk towering above all buildings. I will tell you what legends are preserved about this man and what the local people come here for.
Cave temple with the Reclining Buddha
Another temple is famous for its 15-meter statue of Buddha. You will visit the sanctuary and receive a blessing from a monk who will tie the famous 'sai-sin' rope on your wrist. There is a belief that this helps to achieve absolute harmony with oneself.
Monkey Feeding
And here is a flock of long-tailed macaques. Let's see if their cunning trick works? Rarely does anyone not go to local vendors for bananas or boiled corn for the little manipulators.
Hell and Heaven Temple-Museum
This extraordinary place makes a special impression on guests. Here you will see the demon Rahu, swallowing the Sun with the Moon and causing eclipses, and hermits-monks, and princes from folklore, setting an example of respect for elders. The cave in the form of an open dragon's mouth is striking. The complex vividly demonstrates the Thais' beliefs about the afterlife, which we will discuss while examining realistic images.
Bang Riang Temple
The main attractions of the monument are two huge statues: Buddha and the goddess of mercy Guanyin. You will learn about the concept of coexistence of Thai and Chinese Buddhism during the meeting.
Cheo Lan Lake
Perhaps the most popular place among Thailand's travelers. A man-made lake with magnificent landscapes, rocks protruding from the water, lush islands, and crystal turquoise water. Yes, this is where the footages for 'Avatar' were shot! If you wish, you can rent a boat and cruise the water to better experience its truly unique atmosphere.
📷 Your driver-guide is a former photographer, so you will have excellent photos from the trip, which you will receive as a bonus for free!
