About this experience
If Phuket had its own fairytale world, it would begin in Phang Nga Province, which you will explore during our journey. Get ready to visit a cave temple, glide through mangrove jungles on a boat, have lunch in a sea gypsy village, swim in a waterfall with fish, and visit the Samet Nang Shi viewpoint with an amazing view of Phang Nga Bay!
What to expect
Relics of the Monkey Cave Temple. Our first stop will be at the Suwan Khuha Temple, known as the Monkey Temple because of the hundreds of monkeys living nearby: you can feed the animals peanuts or bananas at the entrance. The temple caves will amaze you with their silence, stalactites, sun rays piercing through the stone vaults, and of course, the 15-meter statue of the Reclining Buddha. You can also receive a blessing from a local monk and tie a sai sin – a lucky string – around your wrist.
Visiting the Sea Gypsies. For lunch, we will stop at the floating village of Panyi, where you will not only enjoy fresh seafood but also get acquainted with the life of the sea gypsies. You will see the unique huts standing on stilts above the water and learn about the past and present lives of the village inhabitants.
The Magic of Thai Landscapes. Throughout our trip, you will encounter stunning views and panoramas of Thailand. You will swim in the picturesque Phang Nga Waterfall, glide through mangrove forests on a traditional long-tail boat. The journey will culminate with a breathtaking view from the Samet Nang Shi viewpoint with a luxurious panorama of the chain of islands in Phang Nga Bay.
