About this experience
This journey is just for you: without rush, unnecessary stops, and crowds of tourists, you will visit unique islands resembling landscapes from “Avatar”. On a high-speed catamaran, we will explore the Phang Nga National Park: admire James Bond Island, visit a sea gypsy village, and canoe into caves with whimsical stalactites. And no extra expenses: we have taken care of everything!
What to expect
A convenient transfer will take you from the hotel to the pier, and then we will switch to a speedboat and head towards the most beautiful locations of Phuket: explore lagoons, canoe into caves, admire the “antigravity” rocky islands resembling those from “Avatar” and much more. The program includes several islands:
🌿 Phanak, where we are likely to encounter eagles, bats, reptiles, and wild monkeys. Cozy lagoons of the island are connected by mysterious tunnels and caves: bring a flashlight - there is much to see here!
🌿 Hong, which translates from Thai as “room”. The island is named so for a reason: here you will visit caves resembling rooms. We will ride to the rocks of Phang Nga Bay, then switch to a canoe and paddle through mangrove thickets under rocky arches. Along the way, we will see ancient rock paintings.
🌿 James Bond Island, also known as Koh Tapu (“crab's eye”). Of course, Thailand’s iconic spot is a must-visit. We will land on the neighboring island of Khao Phing Kan to take vibrant photos with the most memorable Thailand's scenery, buy souvenirs, and find the location where the 1974 film “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed.
🌿 Panyee - the last island on our itinerary. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch, stroll through the village streets, and visit an authentic sea gypsy settlement built on stilts above the water. We will definitely talk about their lifestyle and way of life.
Organizational details
The tour is designed for those who want to admire cliffs, caves, lagoons, and the authentic life of the sea gypsies, as well as go canoeing. When booking, please note that this program is not suitable for those who want to snorkel: you can swim, but there are no coral reefs underwater. All the beauty is above water.
- The tour is not suitable for pregnant women and young children (preschool age)
- The price includes all expenses for 2 people: transfer from your hotel to the pier and back, insurance, drinks on the speedboat, entrance tickets to the national park, canoeing (about 30 min.), and lunch in a restaurant
- Life jackets are available on board
- If there are more than 2 people, an additional payment of 1000 baht per each participant is required
- The transfer from the hotel to the pier will take from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the location of your hotel
- The tour will be led by me or another guide from our team
