About this experience
Phang Nga is a kind of bridge between Phuket and mainland Thailand. We will help you cross this magical bridge and see the most interesting things: greet the sun with a view of the 'Avatar mountains', take a boat trip to James Bond Island, explore the Black Monk temple, and reach the waterfall. And along the way, we will be happy to answer your questions about the locals and Thailand.
What to expect
Sunrise among the Avatar mountains. By sunrise, you will find yourself at the Samet Nang Shi viewpoint, where you will have a fantastic view of the 'Avatar mountains' with the first rays of the sun – one of the best panoramas in all of Thailand! After sunrise, you can rent a boat to get closer to James Bond Island and even disembark.
Lampi Waterfall – our next destination. Along the way, the guide will talk about the daily life of the locals, the local cuisine, and the social aspects of Thailand. In the reserve, you will walk through the jungle to a 3-tiered waterfall, view it from different angles, and refresh yourself in the cool splashes.
Black Monk Temple. The sanctuary of Phang Nga, adorned with a giant statue – not of Buddha, but of a monk-healer, who legend says cured the king. Here you will meet Buddhist monks, learn about the beliefs of the locals, and admire the temple decor with bright ornaments, dragon statues, and birds.
Temple of Hell and Heaven: an unconventional place with colorful sculptures that illustrate the fates of the righteous and sinners. You will delve into the symbolism of the statues, and visit a large cave with passages, bridges, and flocks of bats.
Secret Beach. On the way back, we will stop at a beach that tourists don't know about – and usually it's very uncrowded here. Swim, sunbathe, and replenish our energy at a local Filipino cafe.
Optionally, the program can be supplemented with a trip to Krabi – to the legendary Tiger Temple with a thousand steps.
