Located in the Khao Sok National Park, Cheo Lan Lake will impress you with its towering limestone cliffs, pristine tropical forests, and fairy-tale caves. You will cruise on it with an experienced local ranger who will show you all the most interesting sights. Take a refreshing swim in the water and enjoy lunch at a floating restaurant.
What to Expect
Thailand: Buddhism and Daily Life
On the way to the lake, you will learn a lot of interesting facts about Thailand: its traditions, customs, religion, and daily life. Optionally, you can visit two Buddhist sanctuaries. I will show you the giant black statue of the Sitting Monk in Phang Nga Province. You will also visit the Heaven and Hell Temple with unusual sculptures illustrating the lives of sinners and righteous individuals.
Idyllic Cheo Lan Lake
Together with a local ranger, you will ride on an authentic longtail boat on Cheo Lan Lake. You will admire the tropical forests, pass between cliffs, and swim in the cool freshwater. You will also see a fairy-tale ancient cave with stalactites and stalagmites. Another highlight of the trip will be a delicious lunch at a floating restaurant in the middle of the lake.

- The tour takes place in a modern air-conditioned vehicle
- Extra expenses: food, drinks, entrance fees to the temple — 50 baht per person, boat ride — 1000 baht for 1 hour, 2000 baht for 2 hours
