About this experience
You will see the picturesque Phang Nga Bay with emerging mountains, caves, rivers, jungles, and waterfalls. You will learn about the nature of Thailand and the spirituality of the local population. You will understand the differences between Phang Nga province and Phuket. If desired, you can visit the Elephant's Belly cave with whimsical stalactites, feed wild monkeys, and swim in a waterfall.
What to Expect
Samet Nangshe Viewpoint – coffee and panorama of the bay
Driving on an off-road vehicle, we will reach the top of the viewpoint, where we will have a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe and enjoy the breathtaking view of Phang Nga Bay, magnificent mountains, blue sky, and turquoise sea.
Monkey Temple – feed the macaques (optional) and stroll by the pond
Also known as Wat Suwan Kuha. You will see a statue of a reclining Buddha, tall caves, and long-tailed macaques. You can feed the monkeys, admire the stalactites and stalagmites in one of the caves, and take a walk near the lotus pond.
Elephant's Belly – explore the cave (optional)
This is another name for the Phung Chang cave. With flashlights in hand and accompanied by a certified guide, you will set out to explore it. Starting on inflatable boats, then on small bamboo rafts, and further on foot along the stream bed, you will venture inside the mountain. The uniquely shaped stalactites are reflected in the water, creating a beautiful picture.
If you choose not to enter the cave, you can take a walk in the park. Next to it is a statue of the Black Monk – you will hear his story. Afterwards, we will visit the Buddhist temple of Hell and Heaven.
Walk, river descent, or bathing in a waterfall (optional)
The journey will end with a walk along the mountain river. Optionally, you can descend on a special raft boat through the rushing waters or swim in the Phu Pha Sawan waterfall – as you prefer.
