About this experience
My tour is for those who have come to Istanbul for the first time. In one day, we will visit the main attractions of Sultanahmet Square, associated with the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. You will see the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and other iconic landmarks of the city. By the end of the walk, you will have a general overview of the history of the great empires.
What to expect
You will see:
- Hagia Sophia - a church with a 1500-year history
- Basilica Cistern - a unique underground water reservoir
- Hippodrome - the public and sports center of Constantinople
- Topkapi Palace and Harem - the main residence of the Ottoman sultans for 400 years

- Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) - one of the most beautiful Ottoman mosques and a symbol of Istanbul

- Additional fees apply for tickets: to Topkapi Palace - 1500 lira/person, children 7-12 years old - 50% discount, children under 6 years old - free (with a passport), to the Basilica Cistern - 800 lira/person, to Hagia Sophia - 900 lira/person.
