Author's Photo Walk in Tbilisi
About this experience
Embark on a photo walk with me and be amazed by how much interesting things in Tbilisi are hidden from tourists' eyes! Stunning historical facades, 18th-century mansions, a Gothic-style school, a real kaleidoscope house, and a gallery-like entrance – all of this inspired me to create a unique route with unusual places and objects for photography. I will help you explore the city from the inside and show you the real Tbilisi, hidden from curious eyes.
What to Expect
Explore the most colorful district of Tbilisi from the inside
We will explore one of the oldest districts of Tbilisi - Sololaki. You will see unique architecture from the 18th-19th centuries, grand entrances with hand-carved staircases, painted walls, and entire entrance galleries. We will climb up to a viewpoint hidden from tourists, meet Frida Kahlo portrayed by a young Georgian artist, visit the stained glass house. On the way, I will tell you about the history of the district and share some interesting legends told to me by local residents.
Find the best angles for photographs
During the walk, I will show you the most interesting and unusual angles of Tbilisi, tell you a bit about photography, and of course, gladly take a few cool shots for you. You can bring any photography equipment with you, from GoPro to a phone, or simply enjoy a walk through the non-touristy corners of the city.
Tips from a local over a cup of coffee
To wrap up the walk, we will stop for a cup of coffee at a vintage café with a great atmosphere where time stands still in the 1920s. Or we will go for the tastiest Georgian ice cream – another gastronomic business card of Tbilisi! Georgian ice cream is incredibly tasty, natural, and no less delicious than Italian gelato. And along the way, I will give you some valuable tips from a local: where else to go in the city, where to have a delicious snack, and much more.
Who is this walk for
For everyone who loves taking photos, walking in good company, and seeing a new city through the eyes of locals.
Organizational Details
We recommend bringing any photography device with you: from a phone or a DSLR camera to GoPro.

It was very interesting to learn about the old city, to see places that we wouldn't have seen or noticed ourselves. My wife and I really enjoyed it, thank you Nadia for the interesting stories and warm communication.
