What to expect

About life and residents of Tbilisi
To start off, let's talk about what won't happen during our meeting. I won't tell you academic stories or overwhelm you with historical dates. Instead, I will help you understand how Tbilisi is structured, who lived in the surrounding houses and mansions, share hacks on getting to some hidden spots, and answer questions about the city's modern life. And most importantly, I'll take beautiful photos that will gather likes on all social networks!

A walk at your own pace
I have designed several routes to the places that are essential to imagine the Georgian capital. Choose one of them:
1️⃣ Sololaki. We will stroll from Freedom Square along the Sololaki Ridge through yards and grand entrances of income houses. The backdrop for photos will be the characteristic Tbilisi architecture with its unique beauty.
2️⃃ Chugureti. We will immerse ourselves in the incredible atmosphere of the 19th century with a touch of St. Petersburg. It was in this quarter that the artist Niko Pirosmani painted taverns with frescoes and paintings.
3️⃃ Old Town. We'll walk from Daredjan Palace across the Kura River towards Freedom Square along ancient Tbilisi streets. We will discover and capture charming details: houses that seem to climb steep hill slopes, and ornate wooden balconies.

For the photo session, you can bring props that suit your style (coffee, pastries, flowers, postcard, book, scarf, glasses). We will discuss options before our meeting. Within 5 days after the walk, you will receive a minimum of 50 photos via the Yandex.Disk cloud storage.
