About this experience
During this journey, you will discover a beautiful mountain gorge hidden in the Taurus Mountains. Admire waterfalls and lagoons. Capture a collection of panoramas from lookout points and optionally explore the Gnome Cave. Enjoy lunch at a mountain river restaurant (lunch included in the price). Then head back to Side, stopping in Alanya on the way for an hour of free time.
What to Expect
Sapadere Canyon is located in the northeast of the Alanya region. It stretches for 360 meters and reaches a height of almost 400 meters. As soon as you step off the bus, you will encounter an idyllic refuge. Crystal clear water flows through the canyon, birds sing... A perfect place to be at one with nature.
With a guide, you will explore the canyon, walking along a 750-meter wooden path. When you reach the end of the gorge, you will discover a natural pool and the Sapadere Waterfall, the most beautiful in the area. Brave souls can take a dip in its icy waters. And if desired, visit the Gnome Cave to see stalagmites and stalactites.
At the mountain river restaurant flowing through the canyon, you will have lunch. You will be served simple and tasty village dishes made from natural ingredients.
On the way back, we will stop in Alanya, where you will have an hour of free time for a stroll, shopping, or visiting cafes on the beach. After that, you will head back to your hotel in Side.
