About this experience
For active travelers, Sapadere Canyon is a desired destination. Stretching for a whole 450 km, the canyon hides many picturesque corners. You will admire powerful waterfalls, secluded lagoons, and sheer cliffs. And we will also have lunch at a restaurant near the canyon!
What to expect
The immense size of Sapadere is astonishing. Of course, we won't have time to walk around the entire canyon, it would take many days. But with us, you will see the main natural attractions of the canyon. We will also visit an observation deck in Mahmutlar and explore citrus, peanut, and banana plantations.
Our program
- Hotel pick-up: the road to the Canyon takes about 2 hours
- After gathering from hotels - a stop at the cable car (1 hour) optionally, you can go up, see the fortresses, or stay to walk on Cleopatra Beach.
- Stop at the panorama (30 minutes): you will have a view of Sapadere village and the mountains. Here you can have fresh juice or other drinks and buy souvenirs.
- Visit to the banana plantation
- Visit to the village and stop for swimming (45 minutes): in the authentic settlement on the slopes of the Taurus mountains, you will see traditional households and visit an ancient mosque, interact with locals and learn about their way of life, as well as observe the silk production process
- Arrival at Sapadere Canyon (1.5 hours)
- Lunch at a restaurant near the canyon: choice of chicken or fish
- Return to the hotel around 17:00
