About this experience
Let's explore the beautiful Kartli region! Here you will admire the Didgori Valley, descend into the canyon to see waterfalls, and witness the country's largest reservoir. You will also taste local dishes! The highlight of our trip will be the unique glass bridge hanging over the gorge.
What to expect
We will tell you about the most famous battle in Georgia, which took place in the Didgori Valley, and how the locals celebrate the annual Didgoroba festival. Learn how the largest reservoir in Georgia was built and what had to be sacrificed for it. During the excursion, you will discover all the secrets of the Kartli region.
Route
- Village of Toneti with impressive panoramas inviting you to rest your soul and enjoy views of the green forests covering the mountain peaks.
- Tsalka Reservoir. We will see the amazing reservoir surrounded by high mountains, learn about its formation, and hear the history of the submerged villages.
- Dashbashi Canyon and cascading waterfalls. Experience the unusual engineering marvel - a glass bridge over Dashbashi Canyon! Enjoy coffee inside a diamond in the middle of the bridge. Then we will descend into the canyon to see the multi-level cascading waterfall.
Organizational details
- The excursion takes place in a comfortable minibus with a professional guide-driver.
- If there are 7 or more people in the group, the excursion will be guided by a professional driver and guide.
- You can descend into the canyon on foot or by jeep for an additional fee of 10 lari.
- I or another guide from our team will lead the excursion for you.
