What to expect
Gur-Emir Mausoleum
One of the most significant architectural monuments of Uzbekistan dating back to the early 15th century. This is the family mausoleum of the Timurid dynasty. You will get closer acquainted with the great emir, powerful conqueror, and founder of the dynasty - Tamerlane.
Registan Ensemble
On the Registan Square, you will see three famous madrasahs: Ulugh Beg, Sher-Dor, and Tilya-Kori. All of them are UNESCO World Heritage sites. In this location, we will talk about the local education system of the 15th century.
Bibi-Khanym Mosque
Built in the 14-15th centuries - just when a monumental parade style emerged in Central Asian architecture. That's how rulers sought to glorify their name and the greatness of the state. You will admire the eastern architecture while the guide narrates about Islam.
Shah-i-Zinda Ensemble
And of course, we will not overlook one of the finest architectural monuments of Central Asia. The necropolis formed around the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad's cousin.
