About this experience
Bratislava, like any respectable ancient city, has countless legends and beliefs. We will venture into the old part of the city, where stories of dragons and alchemists, witches and inquisitors will come to life before your eyes. You will stroll through the streets, alleys of castles, courtyards, and squares that have seen demons and angels, as well as the most unknown creatures. It's up to you to decide what is true and what is a fairy tale from what you hear and see...
What to expect
Medieval legends
We all know the only Russian dragon Zmey Gorynych, but in Bratislava, dragons appeared constantly, and not all of them had the appearance of a lizard. For example, I will tell you about the giant wolf Toporjane, who lived downstream of the Danube and, according to chronicles, brought death to local hunters. Let's talk about the scary legends that border on reality: these are stories of medieval witch hunts, tales of wizards and alchemists. You will learn how centuries ago executioners, the Inquisition, and even the inhabitants of one village who simply intoxicated a bloodthirsty dragon fought evil.
Mystical corners of the city
If you are brave enough, let's take a walk through the most mysterious and enticing nooks of Bratislava! You will see the house of Paracelsus, who revived a rose from the ashes and vanished before the eyes of the whole city, learn where the Black Lady wanders, killing with a touch, and what the White Fairy built overnight. We will pass by statues nodding to those with a hero in their souls and see stone knights turning towards innocent maidens if fate favors them...
