What to Expect
Marin French Cheese California Dairy: The oldest cheese factory in America, where Brie cheeses are made by hand in 20-gallon vats just like in 1865.
Bee yards and meaderies: One of them produces alcoholic beverages from honey using classic champagne technology. The other is famous for natural honey from their own hives, without the addition of flavorings and artificial aromas.
Lunch at an oyster farm: At the oyster restaurant - a kind of shack on stilts by the water - you will enjoy the view of fishing boats swaying on the calm waves of the Tomales Bay and try the best local dishes - oysters with white wine, freshly smoked salmon, and fish soup.
