From the port of Civitavecchia, we will head to the heart of the city: we will walk past the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and St. Peter's Basilica, talking about Roman emperors and Vatican secrets, trying gelato and real Italian coffee. In one day, you will see the key attractions that define Rome, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Eternal City, and form your own comprehensive impression of it.

All the splendor of the Eternal City
It's impossible to see all of Rome in one day, but don't worry: I will take you to the most significant, beautiful, and atmospheric places in the city. You will feel the spirit of the Roman Empire and learn about the origins of the great civilization at the ancient Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Pantheon, and Roman Forum. You will hear about the seven emperors - the first rulers of Rome who influenced its history. Toss a coin into the legendary Trevi Fountain, admire the Baroque masterpieces at Piazza Navona, see the Victor Emmanuel II Monument at Piazza Venezia, and of course, explore the monumental St. Peter's Basilica, the main symbol of the Vatican (where, if desired, we will skip the line).
Unusual facts and everyday life of Rome
You will be accompanied by Roman legends and folklore throughout the walk. We will talk about the creation of the main architectural objects of Rome and their secrets: you will learn about the real name of the Colosseum and the purpose of the hole in the Pantheon's dome, look at the legend of Romulus and Remus in a new way, and see the place where witches were burned during the Inquisition era. I will tell you about ancient traditions that still exist in the lives of Romans to this day, and the brightest facts that make people want to visit Rome at least once in their lifetime. Then we will shift to the present day and talk about Italian cuisine, see the Roman Parliament, explore souvenir shops where you can try Limoncello liqueur, authentic Roman pizza, or delicious gelato.

Organizational Details
- We will meet at Civitavecchia Port and then travel to Rome by train or car/minivan. Choose the mode of transportation to your liking. Also, if desired, the tour can start in Rome. If you choose the train, you will have a walking tour in Rome.
Car/minivan - 5 stops near the attractions. - Details will be agreed upon in advance, the duration of the Rome tour depends on the departure time of your cruise ship. In Rome, we will have about 5 hours. The tour ends at Civitavecchia Port.
