What to Expect
Scenic Route: Khor Virap and Noravank
Our journey to the resort will be an interesting part of the trip: first, we will make a stop at the birthplace of Christianity - Khor Virap. You will learn more about this period in Armenian history, admire the panorama of majestic Ararat from the monastery walls, and descend into the ancient pit that I will tell you about on our walk. Next on our itinerary is the legendary Noravank. You will admire the venerable monastery against the backdrop of red rocks and will surely leave a piece of your heart here!
Thermal Resort Jermuk, Natural "Jacuzzi", and Shashlik
Through beautiful local sights and breathtaking natural views, we will reach Jermuk. The resort was once considered one of the best in the USSR. Here you will admire the waterfall, try the mineral-rich water, and, most importantly, bathe in the hot springs. These are natural jacuzzis, bubbling geyser springs, where the water temperature remains constant throughout the year. The sensations are indescribable! After the beneficial and enjoyable water procedures, a delicious lunch with shashlik awaits you.
In winter, you will have the opportunity to ski or snowboard for 2-3 hours.
