About this experience
You will travel to the resort that was considered one of the best training centers during the Soviet era - enjoy the views from the cable car, and in winter you can ski on the local slopes. Afterwards, visit the largest lake in the country and hear its legends. What to Expect
Monument to the heroes of Mimino
Our first stop is in Dilijan, at the monument to the characters of the legendary comedy film by Georgiy Daneliya. As is customary in Armenia, a small fountain with drinking water - tsaytahbyur - has been installed near the monument. The heroes of the outstanding actors Frunzik Mkrtchyan, Vakhtang Kikabidze, and Yevgeny Leonov are now immortalized in bronze.
Picturesque resort
Tsakhkadzor is one of the most beautiful towns in Armenia, located at an altitude of about 2000 meters. The cable car will take you even higher: here you will enjoy breathtaking panoramas - breathe in plenty of clean mountain air! In addition to natural beauty, you will visit the ancient Kecharis Monastery, built back in the 11th century, learn about its past, and marvel at the age of the architecture.
Legendary lake of Armenia
Next, we will head to Lake Sevan: the guide will reveal its legends and tell you about the 'Bride's Stone', and you will take great photos. Here, against the backdrop of the blue sky and the calm lake, rises the famous Sevanavank Monastery - you will be impressed by the harmony of its proportions and learn about the fate of the monastery that has experienced so much.
