About this experience
You will swim in the largest lake in the Balkans, explore ancient temples, and get acquainted with the life and work of winemakers. I will help you understand the mentality and traditions of Montenegrins and appreciate the unique beauty of the local landscape.
What to Expect
Fascinating stories and a stop at an ancient monastery
We will drive to the lake along a very picturesque road along the sea. Along the way, I will tell you about coastal villages, the daily life, and customs of the local population. We will also visit one of the most beautiful monasteries in Montenegro - Rezevici, from the observation deck of which you will have a breathtaking view of the sea.
Wonders of Skadar Lake
After driving with the wind to the picturesque fishing village adjacent to Skadar Lake, we will board a boat and set off to explore ancient Turkish fortresses and monasteries located on small islands and in coastal villages. Those who wish can dive from the boat or swim in the lake during a stop at the island beach.
Visiting the winemakers
After the boat trip, you will taste freshly prepared fish in a local restaurant and visit a private winery, where you will hear and see how wine, rakia, and brandy are made. Also, if you wish, you can taste these drinks. On the way back, if you still have the energy, we will stop for a swim at one of the wonderful beaches.
