What to Expect
All secrets of the reserve
Plitvice Lakes are conventionally divided into two parts - Upper and Lower. We will start with the Lower ones and hike upwards, as it is much more picturesque that way. At the beginning of the path, you will be mesmerized by the breathtaking view of Veliki Slap - Croatia's largest waterfall with a height of 72 meters. I will tell you how it emerged and which famous people visited it. I will also share interesting facts about the Lika region, where the reserve is located, and its wildlife, butterflies, and exotic plants.
Surrealistic landscapes
After walking along the cozy paths of the Lower reserve, listening to the murmur of water, you will board a ferry and head to the Upper lakes with a giant number of small water bodies and waterfalls of different strengths and heights. You will be treated to indescribable views that will impress even the most seasoned travelers. But that's not all - we will return to the Lower lakes on a panoramic train. This little journey will be the final chord of acquainting yourself with Croatia's "calling card."
